New Location…Huge Success

We were very excited to be at a new location this year, on the corner of Mace and Cowell.  It seemed very convenient for the tree shoppers and we sold a record amount of trees in record time.  Unfortunately for shoppers, we underestimated the popularity of the new location and  sold our final tree on December 19.  Next year, we will order even more trees, but the word is spreading so make sure you get there early!  Thank you all for making our 2010 tree lot a huge success!

Send a Boy to Camp!

The Christmas tree sale contributes more than any other activity to the annual operating income of the groups. The proceeds go directly to the troops and crews, so that 100% of the net sales remain in the community. Typical uses include activity fees such as camping permits, event registration, membership dues, and replacement equipment. In particular, full-time summer camps are quite expensive. Once-in-a-lifetime wilderness experiences such as Camp Cherry Valley and Philmont National BSA High Adventure Camp would be financially out of reach for many boys without the Christmas tree fundraiser.
